As Christians, we strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and to give generously of our time, talents, and resources to those in need.

 

Here are a few nonprofit organizations that we help and honor in our parish.

“Christmas Giving Tree”

 

“Whoever receives this child in my name receives me…” – Luke 9:48

 

During Advent our Giving Tree is decorated with ornaments requesting donations of gifts to either the Pine Haven Boys Center of Allenstown NH or the Penacook Pregnancy Center. Gifts are collected and distributed to these organizations to help those in need and provide joy during the Christmas season.

Pine Haven Boys Center is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian, intensive residential facility that cares for boys with behavioral, educational or emotional problems. 

Penacook Pregnancy Center of Manchester NH provides pregnancy support and compassionate care for those experiencing unexpected pregnancy.

“40 Cans for Lent”

During Lent the Knights of Columbus coordinate the collection of canned and dry goods around the base of our cross here in the church. All that is collected during the season of Lent, along with monetary donation envelopes distributed in the pews of the church are then given to the local Community Action Program of Allenstown NH. Last year in 2025 we gave over 500 pounds of food along with $2,628.
